learntofly2.org is an independent fan site for Learn to Fly 2, Light Bringer Games' 2011 penguin launch game, kept playable in the browser through Ruffle. The site was rebuilt in September 2026 as a static site served from our own server so it loads quickly on a school laptop and depends on nothing but the game file.

Around the main game is a shelf that shares its loop: Learn to Fly 3, Burrito Bison and Toss the Turtle for the launch-and-upgrade crowd, one-key flyers, idle and upgrade games, a few shop sims and some quick arcade rounds, each with its own page describing what it is and how it controls.

How the games work

Learn to Fly 2 and Learn to Fly 3 are the original SWF files, served from this domain and run by Ruffle, an open-source Flash emulator that loads with the page. The other games are HTML5 builds embedded from the game host that serves our sites. Nothing installs, no account is needed, and a game only loads when you press Play.

Who writes the content

The descriptions, control guides, tips and answers on this site are written by the people who run it, after playing the games. Where we describe a mechanic, it is because we have used it. If something we have written is wrong, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it.

Ownership and rights

Learn to Fly, Learn to Fly 2 and Learn to Fly 3 were created by Light Bringer Games and remain their work; this site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them or by Kongregate, where the games were first published. The other games belong to their developers, and Ruffle is the work of the Ruffle contributors under its own licence. All other games remain the property of their respective developers and publishers. If you own a game listed here and want it removed, get in touch and we will take it down.
